Mechanism

Activates Toll-like receptors (TLR-2 and TLR-9) on dendritic cells, promoting T-cell maturation, Th1 cytokine production, and improved pathogen recognition while restoring immune balance.

Overview

Thymosin Alpha-1 is a 28-amino-acid peptide naturally produced by the thymus that orchestrates immune function. It is approved in over 30 countries (Zadaxin) for hepatitis B and C and as a vaccine adjuvant. It enhances T-cell, dendritic-cell, and NK-cell responses and is used for chronic infections and immune support.
